Re: Recommendations for pasta maker?

#2
I bought the Marcato Atlas pasta maker a few months ago, it seems like the go-to option when I researched online, and I was also able to try it at a coworker's apartment before I made the purchase. It's a simple machine that helps you roll out the dough, and it comes with swappable attachments for different types of pasta. Mine came with the default attachment for fettuccini and spaghetti.

I don't think there's much reason to go for an electric machine (like an attachment for a KitchenAid). Most of the work that goes into making pasta is kneading the dough before you begin rolling it out, the actual rolling and cutting is quick and easy.
