What types of grass for a lawn are available?

#1
Well, what types of grass are suitable for a lawn? Are there new types discovered or genetically modified lately? Still, are there some that are more enduring than others in terms of survival?

And, which ones have the best looks? When it comes to maintenance, which type can be economical?

Can I mix two different types, or the best way is to stick to a single type?

It really depends upon where you live, but generally there are two types of grass. Cold season grass grows in cool weather and warm season grass grows and flourishes in warm weather.

Some species of grass have a smooth texture, some have a carpet like one.

Maintenance highly depends on where you live, the moisture and the nutrients soil your soil has.

In the end, it all comes down to where you live.

Thanks. I'm not asking with any place in my mind. I just want to know what's available. Nowadays things are moving very fast and I want to stay up to date.
